4.5 Platform Intelligence Cookies (Platform DNA and Deal Intelligence)
MediaShippers uses platform intelligence cookies to support its proprietary Platform DNA Gene system, gap analysis reports, audience demand signals, title matching, deal intelligence, and personalised platform outputs. These cookies support platform functionality and intelligence continuity and do not contain personally identifiable information.
FOR BUYERS
Platform intelligence cookies retain platform category, content acquisition focus areas, previously accessed Platform DNA Gap Analysis reports, and Title Match context. This allows MediaShippers to deliver buyer intelligence that reflects relevant acquisition needs and platform context.
FOR SELLERS
Platform intelligence cookies retain catalogue composition, registered title categories, target territories, audience segments, and deal parameters. This helps seller content appear in relevant buyer-facing recommendations and allows deal workflows to be pre-filled across sessions.
5. Third-Party Cookies
MediaShippers may use trusted third-party providers for analytics, performance monitoring, and user experience optimisation, including:
Google LLC, through Google Analytics; and
Microsoft Corporation, through Microsoft Clarity.
These providers may place cookies or similar technologies on the platform in accordance with their respective privacy policies and service practices.
MediaShippers does not allow third-party advertisers, advertising networks, external data brokers, or commercial profiling providers to place cookies on the platform for behavioural advertising, targeted advertising, commercial profiling, or resale of data. Third-party cookies used on MediaShippers are limited to analytics, functionality, security, performance, and user experience improvement purposes.
Buyer platform intelligence data, seller catalogue data, deal data, pricing data, and rights information are not shared with third parties for advertising, commercial profiling, or sale to data brokers.
6. International Transfers and Third-Party Processing
Cookie-related data may be processed by MediaShippers and trusted service providers, including Google and Microsoft, in jurisdictions outside the user's country of residence. Where such processing or transfer occurs, MediaShippers will take steps required under applicable law to ensure appropriate data protection safeguards are applied. This may include contractual safeguards, data processing agreements, service provider commitments, access controls, and other legally required protections.
7. Your Cookie Choices and Controls
7.1 Cookie Consent
When you first visit the MediaShippers website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. You may accept all cookies or manage your preferences by category. Essential cookies are always active because they are necessary for platform operation. Your consent choices are recorded and respected on future visits, subject to applicable law. Where law requires active consent, non-essential cookies will be used only after consent is obtained.
FOR BUYERS
Buyers may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies without losing access to Platform DNA Reports, Buyer Reports, Title Match, or Deal Definition tools. Essential cookies remain active for authentication, platform access, and content intelligence delivery.
FOR SELLERS
Sellers may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies without losing access to catalogue dashboards, listing management, subscription status, or deal tracking. Essential cookies remain active for subscription sessions, catalogue management, and deal pipeline integrity.
7.2 Browser Controls

Google Chrome
Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Mozilla Firefox
Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Microsoft Edge
Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Safari

Users may also refer to Microsoft's privacy controls at account.microsoft.com/privacy. Opting out of Microsoft Clarity will not affect core platform access, deal workflows, catalogue management, or subscription access.
8. Regional Data and Analytics Use
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may provide approximate geographic data, such as country and city-level location, derived from IP addresses. MediaShippers uses regional data to:
understand which geographic markets are most active;
analyse regional content demand;
improve buyer-seller matching intelligence;
support Platform DNA regional pricing and popularity indicators;
optimise platform infrastructure and content delivery; and
identify emerging markets for outreach and catalogue development.
Regional analysis is conducted using anonymised and aggregated data. It does not identify individual users. MediaShippers does not access precise GPS location.
FOR BUYERS
Regional engagement data may inform Platform DNA Gap Analysis and Buyer Reports by identifying territory-level demand for certain genres, formats, and content categories. Buyers are not individually profiled by geography.
FOR SELLERS
Regional analytics help identify territories where seller catalogues may generate acquisition interest. This improves title matching and content discovery, but individual seller data is not shared with third parties as part of regional analysis.
9. Data Protection and Cookie-Related Data Processing

10. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Where MediaShippers detects such signals, it will limit the operation of non-essential analytics cookies to the extent technically feasible. Essential cookies remain active regardless of Do Not Track settings because they are required for login, security, authentication, and platform operation. Users may also manage cookie preferences directly through the cookie consent banner or browser settings.
11. Updates to This Cookie Policy
MediaShippers may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in cookie use, platform features, operational practices, third-party tools, legal requirements, or regulatory guidance. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date" or "Last Updated" date.
Where required by law, or where material changes are made to cookie practices, MediaShippers may provide additional notice through an updated cookie banner, consent management tool, or platform notice. Where changes affect buyer or seller functionality, including Platform DNA cookies, deal session cookies, catalogue-related functional cookies, or platform intelligence cookies, MediaShippers will provide role-specific notice to affected users before the changes take effect, where required.
Continued use of the platform after an updated Policy is published constitutes acknowledgment of the changes, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.
