Media Shippers ("Media Shippers," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Entertainment Technologists Development Corp., is a global B2B marketplace for content rights discovery, licensing, distribution, and AI-assisted content intelligence. The Platform connects content producers, studios, distributors, aggregators, broadcasters, FAST channels, and OTT platforms worldwide.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, share, and protect information when users access or use the Media Shippers website, platform, dashboards, deal rooms, AI-assisted tools, Platform DNA Gene features, analytics systems, and related services.
We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and other applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
2. Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- All visitors to mediashippers.com and its sub-pages
- Registered users of the MediaShippers platform, including Sellers (content owners, producers, studios) and Buyers (OTT platforms, broadcasters, distributors, FAST channels)

- Business & Content Information: Catalogue metadata, title details, genres, language information, rights availability, territory information, pricing inputs, trailers, synopses, technical specifications, licensing preferences, uploaded documents, and related intellectual property information.
- Deal & Transaction Information: Deal submissions, offers, negotiations, contract registration records, transaction workflows, pricing discussions, and communications exchanged through deal rooms or support channels.
- Payment Information: Subscription plans, invoices, and billing-related information processed through secure third-party payment providers. Media Shippers does not store raw payment card details.
- Usage & Technical Information: IP address (including anonymised analytics data where applicable), browser type, device information, operating system, pages visited, session duration, clicks, scroll behaviour, referral source, approximate geographic region, and interaction data.
- AI & Recommendation Inputs: Catalogue information, buyer requirements, metadata, pricing inputs, territory data, platform preferences, and market signals used to generate Platform DNA Gene reports, DNA Health Scores, pricing indicators, pitch-fit templates, recommendation reports, and related AI-assisted outputs.
- Analytics & Cookie Information: Information collected through cookies, local storage, analytics tags, pixels, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, heatmaps, behavioural metrics, and session replay technologies with masking of sensitive fields where applicable.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically

3.3 Platform DNA Gene - AI-Generated Intelligence Data
Media Shippers offers AI-assisted tools, including Platform DNA Gene, which analyse content catalogues and buyer/seller requirements across multiple intelligence dimensions to generate:
- Platform DNA Gene reports;
- DNA Health Scores;
- Popularity indicators;
- Pitch-fit templates;
- Pricing guidance and offer evaluation reports;
- Buyer-content matching insights; and
- Territory and market opportunity indicators.
These analyses are based on catalogue and platform data provided by users, including genre, territory, format, language, metadata, pricing inputs, and historical performance information. AI-generated outputs may be processed and stored to improve platform intelligence, recommendation systems, and future analytical accuracy.
Platform DNA Gene operates primarily on content, catalogue, and platform-level information and is not intended to analyse personally identifiable information of individuals.
All AI-generated outputs are provided solely for business intelligence and decision-support purposes. Media Shippers does not guarantee that such outputs will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for any specific commercial decision. Users remain solely responsible for independently verifying all rights, pricing, legal clearances, platform suitability, and commercial terms before entering into any transaction or relying on AI-assisted insights.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account Management: to create, maintain, and administer your MediaShippers account and subscription
- Platform Operation: to enable content discovery, storefront display, deal room functionality, buyer-seller matching, contract registration, and content delivery services (dubbing, subtitling, QC, transcoding)
- AI and Intelligence Features: to power Platform DNA Gene analyses, offer evaluation reports, pricing guidance, and content-match recommendations
- Communications: to send transactional messages (account notices, deal alerts, platform updates) and, where you have consented, marketing communications
- Analytics and Improvement: to analyse usage patterns, understand regional demand, improve platform features, and identify areas of user experience enhancement, using anonymised and aggregated data
- Security and Fraud Prevention: to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity
- Legal Compliance: to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to respond to lawful requests from regulatory authorities
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / applicable law)

7. Analytics Tools - Microsoft Clarity & Google Analytics
Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for platform functionality, analytics, security, performance monitoring, and user experience improvement.
7.1 Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to better understand how visitors interact with our website and platform. Microsoft Clarity may collect behavioural insights including:

- Session replays used to identify usability issues and improve platform experience;
- Behavioural metrics such as scroll depth, rage clicks, dead clicks, and navigation patterns; and

Microsoft Clarity automatically masks text input fields and sensitive or personally identifiable information before recordings are processed. We have configured Clarity to operate in accordance with Microsoft's privacy and data protection guidelines.
The information collected through Microsoft Clarity is used solely for analytics, platform optimisation, usability improvement, and behavioural insights. We do not use Clarity data for advertising, commercial profiling, or targeted marketing purposes.
7.2 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to collect and analyse anonymised website and platform usage data. Google Analytics may collect information including:
- Pages visited, navigation flows, session duration, and exit pages;
- Referral sources showing how users arrived at the Platform;
- Device type, browser type, operating system, and related technical information;
- Approximate geographic information derived from IP address, including country and city-level location; and
- User engagement metrics such as bounce rates, clicks, and interaction behaviour.

- Heatmaps, session replay data, and interaction patterns with website elements; and

We use this information to:
- Improve platform functionality, user experience, navigation, and infrastructure;
- Analyse regional content demand and buyer-seller engagement trends;
- Enhance Platform DNA Gene insights and recommendation systems;
- Monitor platform performance, security, and fraud prevention; and
- Support product development, analytics, and operational decision-making.
All analytics and regional data are analysed in anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified form and are not used to personally identify users. We do not sell personal information collected through these tools or share it with advertisers or data brokers for commercial targeting purposes.
Microsoft Clarity automatically masks sensitive and personally identifiable information in session recordings. Users should nevertheless avoid submitting sensitive personal information in non-designated fields.
We may share limited data with trusted service providers, analytics vendors, cloud hosting providers, payment processors, professional advisors, or legal authorities where required by law or necessary for platform operations, security, compliance, or business transfers.
Subject to applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or object to certain processing of their information. Requests may be directed to.
8. Cookies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to support platform functionality, authentication, analytics, security, performance monitoring, and user experience improvement. 9. Data Retention

- Account and profile information may be retained during the active account period and for up to three (3) years following account closure;
- Content, catalogue, transaction, and deal-related information may be retained for up to five (5) years following the last activity or transaction;
- Communication records and support interactions may be retained for up to three (3) years from the date of last interaction;
- Analytics and behavioural data collected through Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics may be retained in accordance with configured retention settings (generally up to 13 months); and
- Information subject to legal hold, investigation, dispute resolution, or regulatory inquiry may be retained until the relevant matter is resolved.
Where reasonably possible, AI analysis inputs and analytics data may be anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified for platform intelligence, service improvement, and operational analysis purposes.
10. International Data Transfers
Media Shippers operates a global B2B marketplace and may process or store information in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where our affiliates, cloud providers, analytics vendors, or service providers operate.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, including outside India, we take reasonable steps to implement appropriate safeguards and security measures in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the use of contractual protections or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms where required.
11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, role-based permissions, secure cloud infrastructure, and ongoing security monitoring and assessments.

Users acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet carries inherent security risks, and Media Shippers cannot guarantee absolute protection against all cyber threats, breaches, or unauthorised access.
