1. Who We Are

MediaShippers, operated by Entertainment Technologists Development Corp., is a global B2B marketplace for content rights discovery, licensing, distribution, and AI-assisted content intelligence.

The platform connects content sellers, studios, distributors, aggregators, broadcasters, FAST channels, OTT platforms, and other media businesses.

MediaShippers operates as a two-sided marketplace: sellers subscribe to list catalogues, manage rights, and reach buyers; and buyers access the platform free of charge to discover content, receive Platform DNA intelligence, and conduct deal workflows.

This Policy explains how MediaShippers collects, uses, stores, processes, shares, and protects information when users access the website, dashboards, deal rooms, Platform DNA Gene tools, analytics systems, and related services.

MediaShippers processes information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other relevant data protection regulations.

2. Scope and Application

This Policy applies to all visitors, registered buyers, registered sellers, enterprise clients, API/integration users, white-label users, GCC/EOR service users, and persons submitting information through MediaShippers forms or platform tools.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites linked from MediaShippers. Users should review the privacy policies of third-party websites before using them.

Buyers do not submit catalogue data, pricing inputs, or rights availability information.

FOR SELLERS

Seller data may include registration and billing details, catalogue metadata, title information, rights availability, licensing preferences, pricing inputs, subscription details, VVIP Deal Room access records, deal communications, and content delivery specifications.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

MediaShippers may automatically collect technical and usage data, including:

  • browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution;
  • IP address, referring URL, pages visited, click patterns, session activity, and time spent;
  • login timestamps, session duration, and feature interactions; and
  • approximate country or regional location inferred from IP address.

MediaShippers does not collect precise GPS location through website analytics.

FOR BUYERS

Buyer session data helps MediaShippers understand how buyers use Platform DNA reports, content search, filters, and Deal Definition tools. Buyer session data does not include catalogue metadata, rights data, or pricing information and is not shared with sellers for commercial profiling.

FOR SELLERS

Seller session data helps MediaShippers understand how sellers use catalogue dashboards, deal pipelines, VVIP Deal Rooms, and subscription screens. Seller session data does not include personal financial information and is not used for advertising or commercial targeting.

3.3 Platform DNA Gene - AI-Generated Intelligence Data

MediaShippers provides AI-assisted tools, including Platform DNA Gene, to analyse catalogue, platform, market, and user-provided business data.

These tools may generate:

  • Platform DNA Gene reports;
  • DNA Health Scores;
  • popularity indicators;
  • content gap signals;
  • pitch-fit templates;
  • pricing guidance;
  • offer evaluation reports;
  • buyer-content matching insights; and
  • territory and market opportunity indicators.

These outputs may be based on catalogue information, genre, territory, format, language, metadata, pricing inputs, platform preferences, and market signals.

Platform DNA Gene is intended to analyse content, catalogue, and platform-level information. It is not intended to analyse personally identifiable information of individuals.

AI-generated outputs are for business intelligence and decision-support only. They should not be treated as legal, financial, commercial, investment, valuation, or guaranteed performance advice. MediaShippers does not guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for any specific commercial decision. Users must independently verify rights, pricing, legal clearances, platform suitability, and commercial terms before relying on AI-assisted outputs.

FOR BUYERS

Buyer-facing Platform DNA reports use aggregated, anonymised catalogue and platform signals. Individual seller pricing inputs, deal terms, and confidential catalogue financial data are not disclosed to buyers through Platform DNA outputs. Buyers are identified in report generation by platform category and not by personally identifiable information.

FOR SELLERS

Seller catalogue data, including title metadata, territory availability, language, and format details, is used to generate Platform DNA intelligence and Title Match recommendations. Sellers consent to this use by registering on the platform. Sensitive seller data, such as specific pricing, active deal terms, and undisclosed rights windows, is treated as confidential and is not included in buyer-facing outputs.

AI DISCLAIMER: Platform DNA Gene outputs are AI-generated estimates for guidance purposes only. Scores, popularity indices, and pricing indicators do not constitute guarantees of commercial performance, audience reception, or deal valuation. MediaShippers accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated outputs.
